My start weight: 261.8 lbs
My current weight: 258.9 lbs
Pounds Lost: 2.9 | Pounds to go: 58.9
I’m guessing that my body has reached stage 2 because for some unknown reason my weight is going back up. Not by a lot, but definitely in the wrong direction. So at the start of day 8, my weight loss is just under 3 lbs. To put it another way, I have spent $66.60 per pound of weight loss. I can’t tell you how disgusted I am by this cost.
Breakfast today was the Classic Waffles* ($4.09) with the Jenny Craig Breakfast Syrup and fresh strawberries. Not a bad breakfast but I was so pressed for time I just had to wolf it down. Drank the shake in the car.
Lunch today was the Chicken Fettuccine* ($7.69) with my garden salad and some grapes. Unfortunately, even my exceptional cooking skills couldn’t save this meal from turning into a lump of sticky, clumpy grossness.
Again, I forgot to pack my afternoon snack. You would think that this would be easy stuff. I go over the list 2 or 3 times as I pack it. But somehow I keep missing something. This time I forgot to pack an extra Cottage Cheese to replace the Toxic Greek Yogurt.
So, I’m going to improvise. I’ve still got my grapes and I found some dill pickles in the office fridge. Going to take these with me to my 2:00 meeting. These afternoon snacks are becoming a real problem. I think I’m going to have to find some kind of snack bar or something that I can just put in my pocket.
The Pork Carnitas Burrito Bowl* ($7.69) is basically just a few port slices with rice and some vegetables. It was edible, but not what I call super tasty. But it was filling. I added some mixed veg & half an avocado. In fact, I was so full that I totally forgot about my last snack until about 8:30. By then I just decided to skip it all together.
