Global Warming (or “Climate Change”, if you’re a revisionist) is a HOT topic these days (ok, pun intended). Unless you live in a cave, it is impossible to go through a single day and not hear those words. Of course, this is deliberate. It’s an old trick, say something over and over – even if it’s not true. In time, people will become so accustomed to those words that it will register in the brain as “truth”. This is basic proven psychology and it is very effective. The Democrats in congress and Eco-Freaks all over the country have been pounding those words into the brains of the American public since the 70’s.
Another trick used by Democrats and Eco-Freaks is the ‘Terrifying Large – Statistic’. They hit you with numbers that are so large, it is difficult for the mind to comprehend. By doing this they not only scare the hell out of people, but it also makes them sound legitimate.
Here’s a typical one they hit you with all the time. (Which by the way is absolutely true.)
Man-made CO2 emissions reach 31,254,289,000 tons every year.
ie: 31 Billion tons
Then they follow it up with something such as, “We must stop this global warming or we will all perish!”. (Note that the assumption of Global Warming – taken as fact in the statement.) The effect this is that people associate dying with Global Warming. And it must be true because look at that ridiculously large and alarming statistic.
Repeat this process about 1000 times a day – for 10 years. Eventually, people accept it as fact. Throw in statements from a few Environmentalist wackos (whom you will portray as scientists, even though they are not) and you have the making of a worldwide movement to reduce greenhouse gas.
But here is what they forgot to tell you .. 31,254,289,000 tons of of CO2 equals 0.814 % of all green house gas on earth. That’s right, the entire output of CO2, from every man made source on earth, is less than 1% of the total CO2 put into the atmosphere.
What they forgot to tell you is that naturally occurring methane (which is 20X more potent than CO2) makes up 99.19% of the greenhouse gas on earth.

To put it in perspective, every year volcanoes emit 175% more CO2 than every car, every factory, every cow fart (which is also included in the chart) from every man made source on earth combined.
Another way to look at it, “Termites” by themselves emit 67% as much green house gas as mankind.
Here’s the statistic that they forget to tell you:
The total volume of greenhouse gases (in CO2 eq.) from natural sources =
3,805,390,000,000 metric tons
ie: 3.8 Trillion tons
“So, what about all those statistics that show the earth is warming?”, you may ask. Frankly, the only such statistics that actually exist have been compiled from temperature readings taken from 1948 to 1997. (Note: readings since 1998 have been omitted because they show a cooling trend. And since that blows the curve these dates are omitted) In total these readings show an increase in Global Temperatures of 0.16 degrees. They then ‘calculate’ rates of change to ‘predict’ a global warming trend. To put it simply, the entire Global Warming agenda is based on 49 years worth of statistical data. That’s it. Four Billion Years worth of history (including at least 2 major ice ages) is completely set aside for 49 years worth of hand-picked data.
Data that doesn’t even represent 1% of the total CO2 of the earth.
You don’t have to take my word for it. Look it up yourself. I dare you to find any actual data (not rhetorical gibberish or talking points, but actual scientific data) which shows any increase in global temperatures that is beyond a naturally occurring event. You can’t do it because there is no such data. The entire global warming argument is based on “hearsay” and rhetorical nonsense.
Here’s a clue. If your only reference to believing in global warming is, “Gee, it sur iz hot this yer. I don think it waz dis hot last yer” then please, for the sake of the world, don’t vote no more. Please don’t have children either. You’ve caused enough problems and we really just can’t afford any more ignorance. Enough is enough. You should just sit down, and let us grown up’s take care of things from now on.
And don’t you worry, we will take care of all those mean people who have been lying to you. In 3 more years, they won’t be about to hurt you no more.

When we go into the military and especially into combat there is a brotherhood or sisterhood or whatever you want to call it as it is simply a bond for life because of the fact that the person next to you is there for the same reason. In VN I shot and killed many brave North Vietnamese and VietCong that had more guts and probably more class than the crybabies on this blog saying it is immoral and not right for the military to rescind this archaic law. The one that stated that gays are in the same level as child molesters and incesters are entitled to their opinion but it is MY opinion that they are in the same group as cowards and certainly much much less of a human than the brave soldiers that we as American soldiers have had to fight and kill over the years. Our true enemy as a nation is right here at home!
